On September 29, 2010, the ebooks: Libraries at the Tipping Point live virtual event brought over 2,500 public libraries, academic libraries, school libraries (K-12), vendors, thought leaders, and publishers together in a day-long virtual conference environment to discuss the evolving concept of the book in a digital world. The September 29th event is no longer available for viewing but we’re hard at work right now putting together our 2011 virtual ebook Summit, which will feature hot button issues, panels and presentations on ebooks best practices for public, academic, and K-12 libraries, and up-to-the-minute information on ebooks and the library market |
